My Role & Contributions
Planet X is where I started as a software engineer. I worked on a dashboard for monitoring IoT devices, and on the code running on the devices themselves.
- Dashboard — Built UI components and backend APIs for real-time visualization of device data.
- Device integration — Wrote and optimized embedded code so devices could talk to the dashboard reliably.
- Telemetry — Processed and displayed telemetry to make monitoring and diagnostics easier.
- Performance & security — Improved performance and security as data volumes grew.
That role gave me my grounding in real-time data and full-stack work.
